Car did 152 mph on Becker GPS, I think top speed is 155 mph as I had a 3-400 rpm left.

I hope to rev to at least 7,500 rpm. Power and Torque?
Car to go on the dyno very soon!
One more..
Very Nice =) i'm lovin it
Hello mate!
Looks good so far! I really like the intake manifold! Great work!
Which Turbo you have installed at the moment? 7500rpm should be no problem....
Those ITBs look rad!
Wondering how much of an effect they have on a charged engine.
Tell us everything about the ECU!
That's probably one of the things people will almost never do.
Thanks for sharing!
Hi, Yes the ITB is by necessity not design. There is not enough room to switch to larger MAF so we go the route of ITB with Plenum. To even be able to do this, we have to remove Air Conditioning unit! This is becoming more common modification now for small engine bays.
Turbo is a Hybrid Garrett 28R from memory. G-Tech fitted it when the car was converted to GP/R ST. I may look to see if there are upgrades.
ECU is complicated. We make it work with standard instrument cluster, speedometer and tachometer which will read to 8,000rpm. It is a sequential EFI unit.
We have removed Coil on Plug ignition and replaced with EDIS ignition due to limitations of the ECU.
The Ram pipes on the ITB's are not so long in reality, the ones shown are for a different engine. Much shorter in the Abarth!!!
I have Lexan windows coming for the car soon too.
One day I hope to put this engine in Assetto Corse 695 with Sequential gearbox...!!
Air conditioning isn't necessary anyway
Do you take the car on the track?
When does your boost kick in?
I'm looking forward to what the new ECU will do in general to the engine! I hope you keep us up to date!
I bet there is quite some gain with a free programmable ecu. On the spec-list of the ECU it says you can programm an Anti-Lag. Will you try that too?
Why don't you go for a (for example) Motec ADL Instrument instead of the regular instrument cluster?
Anyway, maaaad project, I like it!
Hy
Do you know UniChip? =)

I don't know Unichip but I've just had a look. Looks good, but I don't think it can fix the base problem with the standard ECU and that is the rev limiter is not adjustable. You cannot change the rev limit in the Abarth ECU. That is why I needed a new ECU that would still talk to the body computer in the Abarth yet take me to 7500/8000 rpm.
Boost kicks in about 3,500 rpm..
Pics of Spike on the track
You can change the rev limiter with the original ECU! You can perform a launch control on the ECU also.
Who said that it isn't possible?
Thumbs up for that a500
In Post # 67? Wat's this? I don't know this item.
Fragfrog, das sind Einzeldrosselklappen mit Ansaugbrücke fürn Turbo.
ben_der: Danke. Und was bringts?
Hi, sorry I didn't explain myself properly. The original ECU can have the rev limit changed, but according to G-Tech this is not possible with a plug in box. Anyway, if I used a plug in box, the tune would be fixed. With a programmable ECU I can add/change anything I like then just get it mapped again by the same engine builder. This is why I can't go to G-Tech for this because they are too far away from me. Hope that explains it a bit better. As I am constantly modfying the car I need the flexibility of the programmable ECU.

Unichip is a box but you can change much much much much more =)
